IN CANADA...

people are estimated to be living with HIV

people newly acquire HIV each year

person acquires HIV every four hours
While we have made significant progress in the treatment of HIV, there is still more work to be done to ensure HIV testing, treatment, and care options are accessible to everyone in Canada.

Of the estimated 63,110 people living with HIV in Canada...
9,090 are not diagnosed
10,340 are diagnosed but not on treatment

We must also work together to end the stigma surrounding HIV, which acts as a barrier to HIV prevention, treatment, and testing.
